Jim Wheeler jumped at the chance to sound design this in-store piece that plays on five-screen digital ribbon monitors.  It's pretty impressive.  Here's a list of our friends who created it.

Aarón Loves New York

Chef Aarón Sánchez was in our studio with engineer Corey Trentham for a voice-over session for "Aarón Loves New York."  He's currently starring in the new original series that's been created for the U.S. Hispanic audience.  It just began airing last week on Utilísima - the only 24-hour, 100% original, Spanish-language lifestyle network.

Aarón is a restaurateur, television personality and cookbook author.  You may also know him as a co-star on Heat Seekers and Chopped (Food Network).  And he also just opened the Mexican restaurant, Mestizo, in the Park Place development of Leawood two weeks ago.  Busy fella!

 

Where You Should Park

With all the exciting changes to the Crossroads Art District, street parking isn't as available as it used to be.  If you are visiting our studio, we have four spots for you to park in.

Please use one of the spaces to the right immediately after you pull in.  They will be stenciled soon with the word VISITOR.  It's the lot North of our building - facing the Kauffman Performing Arts Center.

"Making An American Monument" Airs On PBS

Remember the documentary Jim Wheeler sound designed a few months ago by filmmakers Leon Ault and John Altman that chronicled the installation of the bronze sculptures in Omaha?  We're excited to say it will air on our local PBS station!
