Curtis Stone Session

Celebrity Chef Curtis Stone was in town and in our studio recording ADR (Automatic Dialogue Replacement) for the new Bravo culinary adventure show Around The World In 80 Plates.  He co-hosts the show, which is a mix between Top Chef and Amazing Race, with another well-known chef - Cat Cora.

Pictured next to Curtis is Ben Anderson who engineered the session.  He's formerly of Metro Productions (7 years) and studied music composition before attending Full Sail.  Ben has joined us as a freelance engineer for our projects, and he's been bringing some of his own Red Lab Audio projects over as well.  He does location audio too!  We're so happy to have him around!

 

Meet Dan

We have another freelance engineer that we've been working with we'd like you to meet - Dan Warneke.  We first met him while we were doing the audio post for CinemaKC.  (Read more about that here.) 

Dan has been in working hard on a massive archival project for the World War I Museum in which he's digitizing cassettes from their speaking series they have recorded over the last five years.  In addition to sound designing live theatre, he also is earning his MFA in Sound Design & Music Production from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  He's been a great addition to our crew!

Eddie Korbich

Eddie Korbich was in to connect via ISDN with L.A. Studios to record voice-over lines for a brand new animated sit-com that will appear on Adult Swim!  It's called "Rolling With Dad" and is produced by Bento Box Entertainment.  

Do you recognize Eddie?  He does it all!  He's been on Broadway, appeared in TV shows and is also the voice of TIVO among various other projects!  He's here for a couple of months to perform in The Kansas City Repertory's musical about global warming titled The Great Immensity.

Saint Lucia - Moment of Zen

Short Film

(Michael Ong does audio?!?)

Michael Ong, who is the Multimedia Associate Studio Manager at Hallmark Cards, but known by many of you as the once long-time Creative Director @ t2, came over to shoot a short film at our facility!  With him was Michelle Daugharthy – the writer/director of the film, and the Photography Talent Manager at Hallmark Cards.  Scott Gibbons, Photographer, and Tim Bishop, Photo Retouch Artist, were also present.

More will be revealed about this film later, so stay tuned!
